Senior Adults
At First Baptist Lumberton, our Senior Adult Ministries provide opportunities for older adults to stay connected, grow spiritually, and serve within the church and community. From the Wesley Pines bus ministry, which brings seniors from local living communities to worship, to fellowship events, Bible studies, and service opportunities, these ministries are designed to nurture faith, build relationships, and celebrate the gifts of our senior members.
Activities Afternoon
On the first Thursday of each month, our Senior Adults gather at the Pine Street Senior Center for cards, conversation, and fellowship. It’s a fun, relaxed way to build friendships, enjoy community, and share in the joy of being together.
Fun And Fellowship
On the second Thursday of each month at 11 a.m., our Senior Adults gather in the Activities Building for a time of food, devotion, and Bingo. It’s an opportunity to enjoy fellowship, laughter, and spiritual encouragement in a welcoming, fun environment.
Lunch And Learn
Once a quarter, our Senior Adults come together for lunch and an engaging educational program. These gatherings provide a time to learn, connect, and enjoy meaningful fellowship with others in the church community.
