Discipleship
Discipleship Doesn’t Just Happen on Sunday Mornings.
At First Baptist Lumberton, discipleship is about growing in faith and following Jesus together. We offer opportunities for all ages, including Sunday School, Wednesday night Bible studies on practical, discussion-based topics, and seasonal gatherings like coffee shop meetups or in-home small groups. Additional ministries, such as women’s Bible studies and men’s prayer groups, provide ways to connect, learn, and deepen your relationship with God in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Wednesday Nights
Wednesdays at 6:00 PM
Wednesdays at First Baptist Lumberton are a time to connect, learn, and grow in faith together. Youth participate in mission activities during the school year, while adults can join practical, discussion-based Bible studies.
Men’s Prayer Group
Tuesdays at 7:00 AM
Our Men’s Prayer Group meets every Tuesday via Zoom, offering a space for men to grow in faith, support one another, and seek God’s guidance through prayer and discussion. Whether you’re looking for encouragement, accountability, or a deeper connection with God, this group provides a welcoming and meaningful way to engage in discipleship alongside other men in the church community.
Short Term Studies
Seasonal studies such as Companions in Christ are offered occasionally. Please contact the church office for details and schedules. Contact us for more information.
